The Gemini Project, led by Kim and Liv, is a woman-led cultural collective dedicated to celebrating and uplifting artists, DJs, musicians, and other creatives. Their mission is to build a community where everyone feels welcomed, safe, and inspired to create beautiful works of art. As a collective, The Gemini Project is committed to breaking away from the toxicity and vanity in the music industry while honoring Latino roots and enhancing the creative landscape.
🎶 On Thursday, October 17th, The Gemini Project in collaboration with Encounters, invites you to Haunted Carnival Soirée — an after-work networking event at The Penthouse NYC located at 617 46th Street West between 11th and 12th Avenue. Happy Hour starts at 7pm with a special DJ set by Rachel Jiang aka JIA and sets by Jeff Veliz, Chec, and Moya.
The headliner of the night is Pablo Inunza, international DJ/Producer hailing from Chile. He’s said to be one of the new legendary replacements of the Chilean underground electronic current abroad. His music has been signed to prominent labels such as Desolat, Viva Music, Stereo Productions, Rawhtentic, Circus, 8Bit, Deeperfect, Little Helpers, and many more to come. Pablo has performed on world stages as large as Brunch In The Park in Barcelona and BPM Festival Portugal.
There will also be live percussions by Olympians Tassa Drum Group and live artists on the floor painting on canvasses, including body painting by Bianca Irizzary. Stop by vendor tables offering apparel, accessories, and light bites, and make sure to check out the selection of games while enjoying a drink at the full bar.
